Hillary didn’t see the storm on the horizon, but Hurricane Obama has rolled into town sweeping away any hopes that Bill’s gal would get the Democratic nomination. Ouch! Hell hath no fury, like a Hillary scorned or so I’ve been told by my Limbaugh listening friends. You know, the ones who swear on their framed and matted Ronald Reagan picture that she had Vince Foster killed.
The Obama train is on the move and you better get on board or get out of the way. Where is this coming from? It appears that Barack has scored big among independant voters. Poll. If Kerry had done this well with the unaffiliated in 2004, the Democrats wouldn’t even have a primary season this year.
So what is a Hillary to do? It’s hard to tell. She’ll just have to cross her fingers and hope like hell that things improve as the campaign caravan heads to the bigger states. Even there, the PolitiPornster is hard pressed to say that she’ll turn it around. There’s still a chance. If I’m with the Clinton folks, I’d be looking for anything in Barack’s background you could use subversively. Maybe, he attended a Louis Farakhan rally, or once owned a copy of N.W.A.’s seminal work “Straight Out of Compton”. The Clinton operatives will start digging, so stay tuned.
Oh, apparently John Edwards is still in the race.
They have already been putting stuff out in the media under guise of ‘hey, this is what the conservatives will have issues with - THEY play dirty’.
Which is just as genius to me as Huckabee’s change of heart on not airing his negative campaign commercials, yet making the newscorp watch them.
Seriously though. After the conservative hoohah over Bill’s ‘taste’ of weed, then the abrubt turnaround on dubya’s COKE use, I gave up. They are all punks; some just more upfront about it than others.
