This one is just too good and I’d like to thank my friends over at Newshounds for this one:
What’s wrong with this? Well…
Lincoln didn’t debate Frederick Douglas and “Lincoln/Douglas Debate” doesn’t imply that the he did. The Douglas was actually Stephen A. Douglas the Democratic nominee that ran opposite of Lincoln. Here.
How FOX News gets away with being considered a credible news outlet, is beyond me. It is no wonder that poll after poll shows that fervent FOX watchers are among the most misinformed folks on the planet (OK, maybe just the country, but I’m willing to bet their in the top 5 worldwide).
Their revision of history apparently knows no bounds. What next? The South actually won the Civil War (or War of Northern Agression if you please). Perhaps, George W. Bush was so popular that he ran unopposed in 2004. Watergate never happened and was merely dreamed up by the Democrats. Ollie North never lied to Congress (Oops, they’ve already done this one). Yep, in the future we will have history and then FOX history.
It could have been a pure and honest mistake on their part. Roger Ailes most likely beleives that a “Lincoln-Douglas” Debate is when a black person debates a white person, so he naturally went for the Frederick Douglas pic. It’s excusable, really.

Stupid. Yes.
Oh. My. God.
:sigh:
Head of Fox News gives $4,600 to Hillary’s campaign and $12,500 to the Democrats.
