So Dunkin Donuts has been persuaded to pull an online ad featuring popular Food Network star Rachael Ray after several conservative bloggers (spearheaded by Michelle Malkin) complained that Rachael Ray’s scarf looks like a traditional Mid-Eastern garment.

Please don’t get me wrong here, I love democracy. I love the idea of the people governing themselves through voting. However, I do realize that sometimes, democracy takes a back seat to mob rule.

If asked to whistle one tune, most folks would either chose to whistle “Whistle While you Work” or “The Andy Griffith Theme Song”. Yesterday, we lost the composer of the the Andy Griffith whistling tune, Earle H. Hagen, he was 88.
