OK, maybe we agree to some extent BUT porn can’t be that bad? Come on, Porn is the only money-maker on the Internet besides Amazon. Nice churchgoing girl of good family and breeding asks: Why is prostitution illegal but pornography is an industry?
Fresh on the heels of the DC Madame’s suicide I found this question heavy in my mind. Not simply because had prostitution been legal there would be one more woman alive today, but because prostitution and the production of pornography don’t seem so horribly different in my mind. In both cases money changes hands over sex acts, right? So why is it illegal for Senator Vitter to pay a woman to diaper and spank him, but yet it could be legal for said woman to pay him to be diapered and spanked on tape? Why don’t all of these sex crazed men simply give up their lucrative jobs in politics for equally lucrative but much wetter and wilder jobs in the porn industry? (No, wait, don’t answer that. Horrible mental picture. Bad, bad idea.)
One might reply that the porn industry is regulated. Well, would there be no benefits to regulating prostitution? Wouldn’t it be great if whorehouses were subjugated to regular surprise inspections? IF the paparazzi could simply sit outside the DC prostitution market and wait for the money shot of Vitter in a diaper being spanked? No, wait, bad mental picture again. But one should see the point- people will do as they will regardless of the result of said action. Men who like hookers will go and get hooked, even if it means public humiliation and the potential loss of their careers. In cases where no one is truly “harmed” things should be legal and as regulated as necessary- such as with pornography.
So I say- if pornography is as vile in the eyes of God as prostitution (which I believe it is) why tolerate the legality of one without conceding the equality of the other? Why not just say, hey, men, go get your whore! In the eyes of the law you do no wrong.
In the eyes of your wives, on the other hand…

We could add another right to the Bill of Rights: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and Freedom to F*.
I love it!
Now, where did I put my ticket to the Bunnyranch?
