Below is a little video that the McCain folks have put out that outlines the love and affinity that the media have for Obama. Kudos, it’s actually pretty funny. Score one for Team Metamucil.
Imagine if we would have had to endure an Al Gore vs. John McCain election back in 2000. We’d all be wondering whether they were running for president of the United States or mayor of SleepyTown.
But don’t let the McCain Camp fool you. Ole Johnny Mac has his admirers too. Take a look at these:
Oops, sorry John but apparently Bill O the Clown doesn’t like you. That’s OK, Bill’s hatred for you should net you a good 1 – 2 point bounce in the polls. As far as the chimp is concerned, well Reagan started out with chimp and then he got George Bush the 1st to be his VP.

LMAO that video! I bet you Bill O’Reilly is now thrilled that people my age don’t get their news from MSNBC. (Not that I actually get it from “The Daily Show” either- has Bill heard of the internets?)
I just find it interesting Fox “fair and balanced” news started the whole in-your-face partisanship thing. Well, apparently the knife cuts both ways. I wonder if they’ll ever realize how deeply they have damaged the credibility of journalism.
This is one of the things that so bothered me, especially at the beginning of the Iraq war (not our objectives in Afghanistan). TV journalists were so enthused by the promise of frontline exclusives, that they failed their part of the American system of checks and balances.
Every time that guy on Fox & Friends goes “Barack…Hussein…Obama”, I get livid. It isn’t a valid criticism and it is just downright prejudicial and disgusting. It took me a while to figure out that CNN and MSNBC were tools too.
I wouldn’t trust any of them to give me the time of day, and that is just SAD.
Hayden, Hayden, Hayden… you must remember to remember this. The vast majority of people (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR MONEY i.e. promotions, raises, etc.) are only interested in one thing. Themself. Period. All else is secndary. Who it affects, who it hurts, is it true, is it false. The only question most people ask themselves is, “Will this be good for me”? That’s it.
Just look at the world around you. Really, just take a look around.
But that’s just my (correct) opinion.
@mssc54 – Thank you for one of the most succinct and concise discussions on what motivates FOX News.
Dear Attorney College Boy; now look-ee hear. It ain’t just FOX News. Like any lawyer type you see what you wanna see. I clearly said “vast majority”. Clearly you skipped math in you higher education classes. Vast majority is by any standard more than one. Nice try though.
@mssc54 – Ah, but in a very lawyerly fashion you have twisted what I wrote to make point, touche.
My response to your thesis on what motivates the media didn’t say that it was JUST Fox News. You’re confused because it only mentions them. I’d include Limbaugh, Coulter and the like in that statement as well. So there you go, more than 1.
@mssc54 – This is totally unrelated to this post, but I was reading an earlier post and one of your comments and noticed that I had overlooked that you had served on USS Kennedy (please excuse an Airmen for getting that wrong-if I did).
Well, I’m not 100% positive on this but the person that posts as “The Fallen” is Kennedy vet as well. Just found it to be a great coincidence or perhaps spooky.
With both you guys opposing my viewpoints, I’ll make a mental note to stay off of the boat (I know I should have said ship or carrier or whatever, but again, I’m an Airmen).
Dear Attorney Lawyer Boy: First in your first post you coulda just said “Vast Right Winged Majority” and you would have had it all covered. Cause we all know no leftie would EVER do anything for self promotion. Most of them are far, far above that. Excluding executives with a hankering for pizza and thongs that is.
Regarding “The Fallen” perhaps he was ships company and miserable all the time. I was in the Air Wing and was only miserable when we deployed. The remainder of the time I was exploring shore life at Cecil Field in JAX FL. Ahhhhh, those were the days (the ones I remember that is).
